CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 16 TEAMS THAT CAN CLAIM NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP STATUS!!!!

16 Teams won bowl games this season. What sport can claim 16 champions? Only NCAA Football can.
Who do we have to blame for this mess? Major colleges and the NCAA have given up too much control to the bowl committees, conference commissioners, and the corporate TV sponsors. Additionally, the bowl committees are able to operate as tax exempt entities.
Let's identify soome of the people involved:

  • Paul Hoolahan, Sugar Bowl Director. Receives a $462,952 compensation package.
  • Jim KcVay, Outback Bowl Director. Receives a $490,000 compensation package.
  • Sam Williams, Chick-Fil-A Bowl Board Member. Receives a $637,981 compensation package.
  • Gary Stokan, Chick-Fil-A Bowl Director. Receives a $247,905 compensation package.
  • Mitch Dorger, Rose Bowl CEO. Receives a $216,167 compensation package.

What can be done?
  • Stop attending bowl games!!!!
  • All 16 colleges that win a bowl gamne release a press statement claiming National Champion Status.
  • A major university that wins a bowl game but is not crowned the champ needs to submit a lawsuit to the NCAA to get their hands on the trophy.
  • Send letters to the TV networks and sponsors of bowl games indicating you will boycott bowl games and their products.
